Wash Before First Use:
Wash your quilt before using it for the first time to remove any residual manufacturing processes.
Machine Washable:
Place the quilt in the washing machine with similar colors.
Use a gentle cycle with cold or warm water (up to 30°C/86°F) to preserve the fabric and colors.
Detergent:
Use a mild, baby-safe detergent to avoid irritating your baby’s sensitive skin.
Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and other harsh chemicals, as they can damage the fabric and reduce the quilt's softness.
Drying:
For best results, line dry your quilt in the shade to maintain its shape and softness.
If using a tumble dryer, select a low heat/delicate setting to prevent any shrinkage or damage.
Ironing:
Do not iron the quilt, as high heat can damage the organic cotton and any waterproof layers.
Dry-Cleaning:
Do not dry-clean your quilt. The chemicals used in dry cleaning can degrade the fabric and its protective qualities.
Storage:
Store the quilt in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Avoid storing in plastic bags, as this can trap moisture and lead to mildew.
Handling Stains:
Treat stains promptly with a gentle, baby-safe stain remover.
Follow the stain remover’s instructions and wash the quilt immediately afterward.
Avoid Sharp Objects:
Prevent exposure to sharp objects that could pierce or damage the quilt fabric.
